Rockwood Music Hall with Adaline!

 — (EDT, UTC-04) — (EDT, UTC-04)

Rockwood Music Hall, 88 Van Ness Street, Boston

I am thrilled beyond measure to be supporting Canadian artist Adaline on her stop in Boston. This is going to be an amazing night of music of LGBTQ artists including Poster Colors and Gabriella Simpkins at a beautiful venue. Tickets are $15. 21+. Doors at 6:30, Show at 7:00 pm.

"Canadian alt-pop artist Adaline fuses powerfully evocative music with an emotionally unbound lyrical honesty. This authenticity appeals to her growing fanbase and is why she is considered "one of the best young songwriters in the country" (CBC Q) and "a rising Canadian talent that takes listeners to angelic heights" (Billboard). Adaline has had music licensed in more than 90 film and tv scenes including multiple songs on Grey’s Anatomy, 90210, Tiny Pretty Things, MacGyver, Workin' Moms, Below Her Mouth and more. She collaborated on the score for "The Canyons " starring Lindsay Lohan with Brendan Canning of Broken Social Scene and did a composer residency at the prestigious Norman Jewison's CFC. Adaline's personal coming-out song "Ghost" was licensed in Wynonna Earp for a queer love scene. Fans connected with Adaline's experience of growing up as a minister's daughter and her journey of reconciling queerness and spirituality. This sparked a community now non-profit, of which she is the founder, called Bad Believer providing resources, therapy referrals and community for LGBTQ+ people healing from spiritual and religious trauma. Adaline's upcoming EP "Hymnal" is inspired by the stories of the community. Produced by Chris Coady (Beach House, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs) she explores intense feelings and anxiety around coming out and the heartbreak of losing community. She also speaks of hope, the freedom of authenticity, and the power of love when one is embraced and accepted."
